A two-lane highway in the dead of night, headlights catching a woman who waves the car down with blood on her and a dead phone in her hand. The driver is an ordinary married man doing a stranger a favor. She tells a story about another man who offered her a ride and would not take no. She does not want police, only someone to stay with her until morning. What she really wants from him is not on the menu of any motel.

1. Ep. 1A stranger on the roadno account

   The car pulls over on the empty highway and the woman climbs in, shaking and bleeding. She explains that a man gave her a lift, turned strange and would not stop, so she ran. The driver offers to take her to a police station; she refuses and begs him to protect her through the night. He agrees to look for a motel nearby.

2. Ep. 2A room off the highwayfree account

   At the motel desk the clerk asks about beds with a smirk, and the driver asks for two. Once inside, he swears that whatever is out there must deal with him first. She says he smells of cold air and gasoline. He admits he is married and has never cheated; she answers that vows only matter to those who expect to die, and closes in.

How bold it gets

Mostly talk and a slow approach in a motel room, ending on a close, threatening seduction rather than a bedroom scene. The fangs matter more than the clothes here.
