On screen

A two-lane desert road under hard sun is where a woman stands waiting for a ride. The driver of a battered pickup, heading home 200 miles away, cannot believe someone like her gets in. Colette has just left her boyfriend at a gas station 50 miles back. He hands her a drink, she complains of the heat, and a motel waits 40 miles ahead. He wants to be decent; she wants a shower and a distraction.

Episode by episode

Ep. 1Two hundred milesno account
On the roadside, she asks if he is a killer and accepts his no as good enough. She says she is going wherever he is and explains she left her ex at a gas station. He hands her something to drink while she sweats in the heat and mentions a motel ahead. The clerk has a single room, and she shrugs it off.
Ep. 2Hand me a towelfree account
In the motel room, she teases him about his motel inexperience, then heads for the shower. Her ex calls, and she ends it for good, then wishes aloud that more men were kind like her driver. Then she asks him to hand her a towel, telling him to come closer, then closer again.
