On screen

A large suburban house goes quiet the week the father leaves on a work trip. His adult son arrives a day ahead of schedule with a bag over his shoulder. The stepmother has made up the room across the hall from hers, and the two share a bathroom. For years she pretended not to notice how he looked at her. With the house to themselves until Thursday, she wants to stop pretending.
