A sunny villa near the water, where a mother's new husband is still getting to know his grown stepdaughter after an afternoon of target shooting. Evangelina jokes about his aim and about calling him Daddy, and he insists she meet his brother. Chad turns up handsome and generous with compliments, and he asks her along to an evening party aboard a yacht. She says yes and jumps into the water with him first.

   Shots ring out on an afternoon outing, and the stepdad tells Evangelina she aims better than her mother. At the villa the stepdad presents his younger brother and calls his new stepdaughter a knockout. Chad says she is prettier than described, she returns the compliment, and he asks her to a yacht party that evening. She agrees and follows him into the water.

   Sun on the water and a small bikini party that Chad calls casual. Evangelina warns him that people will talk if he keeps staring. A friend asks whether the party is wild enough, and Chad jokes that it may be too much for his step-niece. The two dance, and someone floats the idea of everyone finding a bedroom.
