On screen

A cluttered bedroom late in the morning, clothes thrown everywhere, finds Riley dragging her boyfriend Jack out of bed and changing outfits until one feels right. She tells him her stepmother Regina is going to like him; they have not seen each other in two years. That night, Regina hugs Riley, then notices Jack and says she did not know her boyfriend was so handsome. Riley talks nonstop about how sweet Jack has been.

Episode by episode

Ep. 1Meeting Reginano account
Late morning in Riley's room: she tells Jack to get up and tries on outfits, rejecting each. She says Regina is dying to meet him. That evening Regina greets them, calls Jack handsome and strong, and listens to Riley's story of a two-hour drive he made with a coffee for her. Then Riley pulls everyone to dance.
Ep. 2A spill on the dressfree account
On the dance floor, someone bumps Regina and spills a drink all over her. She snaps at them, then asks Jack to help her clean up. Jack stammers, unsure what she wants from him. They end up somewhere private, and Riley walks in on the two of them, asking where Jack is going.
