One Room with My Fiancée’s Mother

A packed island hotel, every room taken by wedding guests, is where the groom checks in with the ceremony three days off. He opens his door to find Holly Donovan inside, moved there by the staff because she is about to be family. There is a single bed. His fiancée calls from the airport to say sorry about the sharing arrangement, and he promises to keep Holly company. Holly will not hear of him on the floor and complains of tension.

On the phone, his fiancée says she lands at noon tomorrow. Holly tells him not to be silly about the floor and admits she feels tense.

   Later that night, Holly complains her hips ache and steers his massage further down. She wonders out loud if her daughter has praised his touch. He wonders aloud what he is doing, and she reminds him the bride arrives at noon and this is his last night before the wedding.

How bold it gets
