A wealthy couple's estate, home gym inside and pool deck outside, is where Danny reports for a job that pays more than he has ever earned to train one client. Simone, Mr. Grant's wife, jokes about being whipped into shape and asks him to correct her form. His girlfriend phones to ask about the new client, and Danny says it is all normal. Grant catches him looking and explains he writes his wife's program himself, one item a week.

   In the home gym, Simone asks if Danny is the one who will whip her into shape, and he coaches her core work, slow and careful. His girlfriend calls, and he insists the job is normal. Mr. Grant sees him staring, says he writes Simone's program each week, and that this week's is whatever she asks for.

   Poolside at eleven, rule one says Simone sets the pace. She asks Danny to rub her shoulders while his girlfriend calls out for him. Mr. Grant states two rules: what happens in a session is kept quiet, and Simone never hears no. Danny says he has a girlfriend; Grant tells him to follow rule one. The session ends, the day does not.
