On screen

A relative's house set up for a visit, with a pie ready in the kitchen and whipped cream on offer. Lily brings her boyfriend Chris to meet Asa, her uncle's new wife, which technically makes Asa his step-aunt. Asa complains that Lily kept his looks a secret. Lily drifts between the kitchen and the shower. Asa wants a few minutes alone with Chris whenever Lily steps out of the room.

Ep. 1Pie and whipped creamafter sign-in
In the kitchen, Lily presents her boyfriend to the woman her uncle recently married, joking about the step-aunt title. Asa says nobody warned her he was cute. While Lily fetches the pie and offers him whipped cream, Asa takes the few minutes she has. The dialogue is sparse, and the scene runs on glances and timing.
Ep. 2One towel, one minuteafter sign-in
At the table, Asa breaks off with a promise that they will finish later. Lily wants to eat the pie quickly so she can shower. From behind the bathroom door she shouts for a towel, and he answers that he needs one minute. The minute is spent with Asa, a door away from his girlfriend.
