A hot house with a pool out back is where Jake shows up to keep an eye on things for his friend Tyler, who is away for the weekend. Tyler said the house would be empty. Instead Vanessa, Tyler's mother and recently divorced, is lounging there and says it is just the two of them. She wants help with her back. Tyler calls to check in, and Jake says everything is normal. Then Dana, Vanessa's best friend, walks through the open gate.

   By the pool, Vanessa says she thought he would stand her up and wants help with her back. Jake reminds her she is Tyler's mother; she points out Tyler is not there. Tyler phones and Jake insists everything is normal. Dana strolls in through the open gate and promises their secret is safe, for now.

   Poolside again, Dana spells out her terms: she keeps quiet if she gets a turn with Jake. Vanessa refuses to share and calls him hers, and the two women trade jabs until Vanessa declares the pool closed. That night, alone, she tells Jake to lock the door and says there will be no more teasing.
