My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule

On screen

A large suburban house that Jake has agreed to watch while his friend Tyler is away until the next day. He lets himself in expecting empty rooms and runs into Tyler's mother, still wet from the shower and wrapped in a towel. She demands to know who he is and why he is there. Tyler, it seems, never mentions his visitors. She gives Jake one instruction about her bedroom, and he already knows he wants to break it.

Episode by episode

1. Ep. 1A towel and a warningno account

In the hallway Jake apologizes and introduces himself as Tyler's friend, there to check on the house. She asks what he is doing in her home and sighs that her son forgets to tell her anything. Then she lays down her one rule: he must not enter her room. He answers with a polite yes ma'am, already distracted.

2. Ep. 2The rule twistedfree account

Back inside the house, Jake ends up in the room he was warned about. She reminds him that she told him to stay out. He blurts out that she is hot, and she tells him to call her Margot. Then she notes that the rule was about her room only, and said nothing about her stepping into his.

How bold it gets

Mostly looks, a towel and loaded politeness. The second episode turns flirtatious and ends with her taking the lead toward his room, nothing graphic on screen.

How much of her game Jake can handle before Tyler returns home, and what is waiting behind that bedroom door, is still unresolved.

Names you will hear: Margot Vey, Jake and Tyler.
