Every Wife on Candy Lane

A row of tidy houses on Candy Lane empties of husbands for eight hours every weekday. A flag raised outside a house means its wife needs help with something, and the plumber reads the street like a schedule. His first call is Harriet, his brother's wife, whose kitchen pipe is leaking again although he fitted it tight. She holds the flashlight under the sink. Harriet wants attention her husband does not give; the other wives want their turn.

   At Harriet's kitchen, he wonders aloud why the fitting worked loose again. She jokes that his brother is clumsy with tools and holds the flashlight while he lies under the sink. A burst of water soaks them both, and she teases him about the mess. With the sink fixed, she tells him it is her turn now.

2. Ep. 2Neighbors at the doorfree account

   Afterward, Harriet warns that his brother would be unhappy if he found out, then shrugs it off. Out front she finds Holly and two neighbors waiting, who explain that each wife on the lane gets her turn. Harriet invites them in to share him. She announces she will go first while Mrs. Vance and Mrs. Morello watch.
