On screen

A family house in the week before a Saturday wedding fills up with dresses, garters and guests. The groom has named his 26-year-old son best man and orders him to cover any request the bride makes. Margot, 34, jokes that the son can call her Mom, then asks him to close the back of her dress while the father keeps out of sight for luck. Her stepsister Dahlia arrives as maid of honor, and Margot keeps hinting that the best man's job covers more than errands.
